Type 37: Callidina angusticollis loricae
Type 37 is found in low quantities throughout the peaty part of the
section. According to Van Gee1 et al. (1981) this rotifer exhibits some
preference to Bet&a carr. In contrast to their findings, however, Callidina
angusticollis reaches its highest frequencies in the Scheuchzeria peat in subzone
IVa. (Kuhry, 1985)
